Sazerac

Love an Old Fashioned? Try its close cousin! This timeless cocktail from New Orleans was created in the 1800s. The recipe is so simple, and using bourbon instead of the traditional rye gives it a delicious twist.

Ingredients

1 1/2 oz.
Woodford Reserve® Straight Bourbon Whiskey
1 tsp.
simple syrup
4 dashes
Peychaud’s® aromatic bitters
1 dash
Angostura® bitters
Absinthe
Lemon twist

Directions

Rinse glass with absinthe and discard. Stir the remaining ingredients over ice. Then strain into glass. Express lemon twist over glass and discard.
